1. Where does #DreamprojectAI come from?
It all began with «Dreamproject», which years later became #DreamprojectAI when I chose, symbolically, to validate the name of the micro-enterprise I finally wanted to set up. At first, artificial intelligence tools did not yet exist. I devoted those early days to first scripts for GitHub or my Dreamproject backend, and to the first versions of the Commercify screens—whenever the intuition of the moment guided me in this huge project. I had kept my distance from every constraint, client, and outside pressure: even for Commercify, profitability does not, in priority, dictate how my creative processes unfold—each project starts without fully defined commercial visibility. What truly matters to me is, first, the intuition of the service the work can render in users' interest; then the coherence of interfaces meant directly for end users; finally the possibility of handing the current project to the organization—or to whoever will take the relay afterward under better conditions than I could manage alone.
2. Why this name #DreamprojectAI?
For a long time « Dreamproject » was for me a label, an impassable horizon I still had to cross nonetheless. When I finally understood the local, regional, then global potential of a feature like the hyperprofile I ultimately implemented in #CommercifyBeta, I added the AI particles to Dreamproject — ChatGPT had been on the market for about a year — to symbolize the use of AI I finally adopted in most of my creative processes, and in the community videos I can produce when I have time on the project's YouTube channel. I added AI to my original label to make the distinction between « Dreamproject », which will always guide me, and #DreamprojectAI — the name given to the micro-enterprise, closed for a long time, and fully devoted to Commercify's research, development, and first deployment. #DreamprojectAI became over time my personal dev micro-lab: the showcase I always dreamed of, where each intuition turns into real tests, prototypes, sometimes first specifications, then interfaces — to draw out a concrete vision anchored in reality. Most of our projects will remain small forever — confined to GitHub or niche for a handful of users — others will become eminently more central, like #CommercifyBeta.
3. Who is behind #DreamprojectAI?
#DreamprojectAI is Stéphane Delamorte's micro-enterprise — founder of Commercify and of the hyperprofile concept, a generalist by nature who became a full-stack integrator and YouTuber by operational necessity. Stubborn and resilient, I don’t let go the moment an intuition takes hold. I think like a creative, not an industrial: I look for unexplored niches and try to lay interfaces on top of them — and when a tool comes out of my hands, it's solid enough to start, atypical, and precisely designed for its users. A geek for as long as I can remember, I watched green screens arrive, floppy disks, the first mice, the first modems. The first blogs, the first major classified-ads sites, and the national reach our listings could achieve — then smartphones, the GAFAMs, and users with their noses glued to tiny screens, apps that ended up dividing us and overdopaminizing us. I saw C2C platforms stop dead at borders, never allowing our listings to reach true global visibility. That all-direction curiosity reflex never left me — and neither did that C2C gap. <strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/#CommercifyForever" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">In 2025, we still lack a tool that gives users the ability to stimulate and grow their own marketplaces themselves.</a></strong> I will take Commercify to its private beta — no further, not alone. No single person, without funding or a team, can sustain such a platform over the long term. I know it. Everyone knows it. The project's future will therefore depend on the handover I make when the right successor or the right visionary shows up — the one who will finally stabilize a global communication tool alongside leboncoin and the other platforms on the French and international scene. For fifteen years, the market has never wanted to cross that line, for fear of distorting its own business models. With AI and the hyperprofile, it is now possible to bring to market a truly different, game-changing platform — and not everything will depend on #DreamprojectAI. 4. What are the goals of #DreamprojectAI?
#DreamprojectAI's goals are simple and multiple: #DreamprojectAI remains above all my personal dev lab: surfacing intuitions and ideas — sometimes very niche — and, when possible, turning them into new tools, utilities and applications for users, while occasionally updating the active projects on the GitHub repository. #DreamprojectAI sometimes produces AI community videos — published on YouTube — and looks for relayers — community members or creators — capable of taking on a share of the communication around Commercify on their own account. #DreamprojectAI is also my personal website — a showcase where I will publish more personal blog content, perhaps NSFW someday, and some videos that do not fit the algorithms and censorship of big GAFAM platforms (especially YouTube), so as not to expose it to reports or automatic sanctions. #DreamprojectAI is also a micro-enterprise that opens its services to individuals and small organizations depending on the projects proposed, and can respond to external requests under certain conditions.
